Given that a bridge is a structure that allows people (or vehicles) to cross an obstacle (such as a river or a railway) . . .

. . . it easily follows that Bridges Alternative is a school that allows children to cross over obstacles that caused them not to thrive in other schools . . .

. . . and if “water under the bridge” is something that is over and done
with (especially an unfortunate occurrence) . . .

. . . isn’t is logical that at Bridges Alternative we help our students forget school past (it is over and done with) and move into the world of school present and future?

So I pose one central question:  What are the best practices for educating children in the alternative school setting?
